Hacking I bricked my Wii U because I changed system.xml: flash NAND guide?

tell me more.. what did you do , when did you do it , do you have a nand backup ?

I thought i had transfered brain age into my system memory but it was still in my usb. I was trying to do the coldboothax.

cooldboothax isnt for people rushing their method.. .. be fully informed and read .. and undersand what your doing.. before to attempt anything.. and check and double check ...

I haven't dug too far into the WiiU, but might there be a Recovery/service menu of sorts like on PS3?

Iirc, there is a recovery mode for bricks but it is protected and would require either a flaw or leaked files.

when i dumped the mlc from the sd, and then the other 2 gave me "not on nand" uhmm maybe i should do a full dump again ?

Nexo'd was a term coined after a user named NexoCube bricked his Wii U this same way, attempting to coldboot into something other than the Wii U Home Menu.

So basically, it's a term for bricking your Wii U from editing system.xml.

My point in posting that image was pointing out that someone is actually selling an SD card with free open-source software, as well as a bunch of pirated content.
And that same user has several of those same listings. No action from eBay or anything.

Yeah... thats a normal sunday for me in México, i'm 200% sure if i were to go to a swap meet a guy would ask me if i were to turn my Wii U into a Region Free Wii U for a small fee of 200 dollars.

Yes i do. Wtf does that have to do with this fool? The OP likely did not dump his encrypted flash and likely does not have the keys to decrypt it and fix the error. So unless we figured out a factory repair mode this guy wont be able to fix it.

Smealum bricked his console by playing with system.xml, just like the OP.
