I think it's VERY appropriate... I enjoy art like that... there's no nudity... everything is covered... there's not even an errant pubic hair!

If your going to say it's inappropriate, you need to say WHY... I think your avatar is inappropriate, for stealing the IP of Nintendo... do I go and make you take it down? Do I call Nintendo, and tell them your stealing? No... I deal with it... if it's not agianst the rules, you can't just do what ever you want...

That's the point I'm trying to make with this... just because your a mod, doesn't mean your god! If you can't EXPLAIN why it's inappropriate, then it must not be!

Topics like this do nothing but rile people up and start flame wars.


Ace, that's the problem... I PM'd him 3 times... he wouldn't explain anything... just said INAPPROPRIATE (can forward the PM if you need me to)

If he would have just said it offended him, I would have taken it down no problem! I'm not here to offend people. I can't really see anything sexually explict about it either... there's cleavage... hell, walk through any WalMart or mall in America (were I am) and you'll see 16 year old girls with skirts so short you can see thier birth canal!

If it really would have broken the rules, and JPH would have given me a clear answer, I wouldn't have broght it to the fourm, and left it in PM land...

I understand the need for an explanation. I almost always try and give an explanation when I do something. However, where you're mistaken is that it's a requirement. If you look up at my post and quoted rules it states very clearly that what is and isn't inappropriate is at the discretion of the staff members.

@Salamantis. Lies...l I told you that dynamic avatars aren't allowed, and you should read the *new* rules (you had said you never read the new, revised and updated rules).
I also told you why they aren't allowed - chances could be 1/100 images is a picture of pornography, and besides no one needs a flashy avatar.

My whole complaint is this...

The "inappropriate" part of the rules is very vauge... it should be re-written...

When admin/mods/supervisors can have anything they want, then punish everyone else for the same thing, it doesn't make for fair and balanced... this isn't Fox News...

If a mod/supervisor can have a talking penis, a member can have a girl dressed only in caution tape as a sig, what's wrong with my anime girl? She's covered, not exposed except for cleavage, which you can see on Prime Time television...

I was the one with the Dr Phil avatar... before I finished the AnimeGirl (the image name btw is Red)...

The thing that might be bad is the whole text part... it might be bad because it directly reflects the current "fight" between JPH and myself about my avatars appropriateness...

I want to make sure it would be ok with staff before I do it, and get warned, suspended, and have it yanked... AGAIN!

I would just go for the avatar without approval- But maybe that's why I have 20% warn, and have been warned thrice. (I also got a warn lowering)
