Hacking I never backed up my NAND, and I installed a DS game to NAND with WUP GX2 Installer and bricked.

Yep, my fault for being a slimy pirate I guess. I can't send the system to Nintendo and BS my way through it, I do have coldboot installed. I was wondering if there was any way at all possible for me to recover the system? I'm willing to do anything, including hard mods.

Lets pay some respects here, F.

On a serious note, you're out of luck, and while it sucks to lose a fully functional piece of technology, you live and learn.

Or, you change your mind, and move away from hacks altogether. Whichever one works for you.

The bottom line is, that Wii U will never come back without a Nand backup.

...but you can fetch upwards of 50 USD on eBay for it.

Quite a shame to be honest. This Wii U has given me a good 4 years of service, pretty sad to see it go out this way because of my negligence. Even worse is that I just bought a copy for Smash Bros for the Wii U less than a week ago. Hopefully Smash for the Switch will be good...

I probably won't sell it because I still got my Nintendo ID on there and everything. I won't chuck it out the window cause either cause ya know, it was like $300. :\

Probably won't stop console hacking though. Man, that first time I got the Homebrew channel on my red Wii? It opened a beautiful gate for me. Been following the scene since them. It's my first time bricking a console though.

I never bricked a Wii U by installing a game to nand...

My guess is that since I installed haxchi into NSMBDS last year, and then when I tried tried to install NSMBDS through WUP Installer thinking that I installed haxchi into a different game like SM64DS, things went south since there was technically two titles installed.

Why don't people read guides?

It couldn't be any clearer on the stickies that the DS game for Haxchi needs to be legit.

and yeah you would be as well chucking it in the bin and buying a replacement, unless you need a door stop! You can pick up a console on its own without gamepad for pretty cheap.

They don't care. He says 300$ is alot but it isn't,just white Americans are conditioned to be really humble about money and never talk about having abundance. If he couldn't afford to brick he wouldn't have bricked.

I did install into a legit title a year ago, like I said. I am fully aware of that. What I did was that I installed two of the same game.

This is why I used BrainAge, a shitty cheap game I KNOW I'd never accidentally install over, and one I'd never want to play.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
