well. if new comers stop acting childly, trolling and whining in their posts, maybe the community would be more kind with repetitive answered questions.

What was the point of linking my posts??

I don't see newcomers being whiny and trolling. I only see older users doing so.

I have good reasons to believe I am not the only one to think so.
anyway. I reported the thread since Funnystory made another one yesterday about the same thing, in the site suggestion section.

Stickies? Tutorials? Search button? I am a long time lurker (very long indeed, since gbatemp was really about gba :P ) ...i had TONS of question and i never had the urge to register just to ask a question (i registered a few weeks ago just to follow a game translation to thread)... found all the answers with a little research...asking same questions 1000 times is pointless...it's like repeatedly stopping people in the street to ask them "what time is it?" while you have a smartphone in your pocket

True, some users on this forum are very annoying, especially those "anti-piracy 9.2 elite fags".
the "WHEN 10.2 CIA INSTALL FAGS" are far more annoying.

Stop crying, those ones get banned very early, but no one (of the moderators) care about the othe ones...
because the other "group" actually follow the rules.

If you don't agree, then go on another forum.

I use both this board and /r/3DShacks.

The subreddit is good for big news(2.5) and questions.

If you're interested in any actual homebrew development this is the only option I know of. It's a lot easier to bump a thread and edit an OP than it is to make a new thread every update. The forum also supports uploads, which is useful for non-git releases and theme sharing. Technically, the forum is just kind of superior.

Yeah, because by insult people you are following very well the rules.
Nobody insulted anyone.
if you believe someobe insults another one, report the post.

if for any reason an idiot gets insulted, he deserved it.

4dsdev.org is also good, but it's low-traffic and they might turn on you if the dev talk gets a little too piratey. (like arm9/arm11 kernel stuff)

Why don't we all get those snazzy badges for posting thousands of messages? We should all get one for participating in the community. It kinda makes me insecure about myself when posting here. Wait, the people with those badges had to earned them? Why should I have to do the same? I'm a special cookie.
