So the avid anti-piracy lady did a no no? Ironic.
Her webpage says she forward it to nintendo as wellThe irony is that she disclosed the bootrom exploit to Nvidia because she was trying to act morally superior to TX when in reality she was never morally superior to begin with xD
Depends on the terms and agreements. For example, the recent exploits for iOS that allowed the 11.1.2 and 11.3.1 jailbreaks were both submitted to Apple but the jailbreaks were still developed around the exploits after they got into the public domain. If that bug is released, Nintendo will not give the money right ?
Yep, likely that she just fucked any chances we had of getting a bootrom exploit on Mariko....I think these iPatches fixed more than just FG...
The timing is way too perfect and coincidental.
So from discord: She stole work from hedgeberg, did not get 200k, and she didn’t submit it to Nintendo.
For Fusee Gelee, she forwarded it to Nintendo as a courtesy meaning they can't do jack-squat with that information but just keep them on the 411 with the exploit. It was initially dispatched to Nvidia because they make the chip and can patch out the exploit, not Nintendo. As for your earlier question...Her webpage says she forward it to nintendo as well

Hey, on the bright side, all of our gen1 switches will be worth even more nowAlso we need to point out that this was not Fusee Gelee (she discovered that) this is a new bootrom exploit that could potentially have given us a entrypoint on Mariko and the new patched units:
That fact actually makes it even worse. She stopped us as users from getting homebrew on newer units for money.

People are obviously gonna use this as an excuse to call reswitched "evil" but honestly i think it's great that they didn't hesitate to kick her out after learning about what happened.Glad the truth came out about how slimey he really is. Hopefully ReSwitched learns from this.

A thread like this barely has relevance on here to begin with, let alone a front page. It's drama from an outside source. Luckily the thread has been on rails for now.It would be cool if you guys who have a job on news portal, would make a topic about that where all people can see her face. I will do that myself for a pretty non western site myself.
The point is Nintendo are not the ones who can really do anything about this. Worst-case scenario, they decide to end their partnership with Nvidia and use another chip for their Switch, either proprietary or custom-made. Its on Nvidia's shoulders to correct the problem. If its a flaw submitted to the production company, it is immediately forwarded to all partners. This is standard business. It doesn't really matter to whom the flaw is submitted. If you submit to Nintendo, it gets forwarded to nVidia. If you submit to nVidia it gets forward to Nintendo.
Effectively instantaneously. This isn't some mass use-device for many companies.
