The pre-installed Disk Utility application is capable of formatting drives. Just copy your stuff off of it first.

Is there a new version of the homebrew tool for game save transfers from MK7 to CTGP-7? The one on "Universal Updater" not working for me...it transfers my save, but crashes CTGP when starting game with the save copied over to. Not a big deal, I can enjoy playing tracks again, but was just curious. Thanks again for your awesome work.

No, only because it would not start, so I reinstalled CTGP, and it's fine now. I don't feel like going thru it again. But thanks for responding tho. Sorry for the bother.

The tool works perfectly for everyone, I asked for the crash because it's probably a corrupted SD as well.

I don't know why really. Everything else on 3ds works perfectly fine. I have the sd card image backup on pc, in case I see a prob. But thank you for responding.

basically i get the same error after formatting (fat32), the process id changes between 41 and 43 ..

If you just formatted to FAT32 then you probably any corruption is gone, but you will need to reinstall the mod. By the timing of the crash, I can guess the corrupted files are the music files for the track (CTGP-7/games/Sound/stream/STRM_CC_SPACE_ROAD_N.bcstm or similar, I don't remember the exact name)

This is caused because the SD is partially corrupted. You can try copying all the data from your SD to your computer, then format the SD and finally copy all the data back.

Yeah, had this happen in the past, at least thank you for adding to the list that my SD card that I was using was definitely corrupted.

@Gazzza try formatting and if it still happens, just get a new SD card, that's the only option and it should work perfectly then.

tracks are not loading at all for me. when i try and enter any cup, i get stuck on a white screen. as for cups added by the mod, the track previews do not show up.

I have a question about the mod, can I take the mod files on my 3DS memory card and transfer them to my 2DS memory card and would it work? that is to say, I would like to avoid having to download everything from the start on the 2DS. I'm pretty sure you can transfer it all over, there's a CTGP-7 folder in the root of the SD card.

All you need to install is the launcher application.

You are able to transfer the files that way, but keep in mind the CTGP7 save data won't be transferred.

Got it two days ago, a bit of lag but otherwise okay. You need the 2022 Mario Kart 7 update however.
