Hardware My dad broke my Wii!!

So I'm getting my Wii repaired with a custom case and light. A new disk drive if necessary, and whatever else it takes to fix it. However, if the price exceeds what my dad is expecting, seeing that the Wii is slowly being burried under shovelware, my dad offered to just get me a modded Xbox 360 or a PS3.

Luckily for me, I don't have that problem. My dad is addicted to Mario Kart Wii and I to ssbb. Friday i bought the game and Saturday I played with dad's time together for 12:33 total! I did 9 hours of them

. And yes, my eyes hurted like hell after that

great it's a good thing your dad apologised and personally i love my parents and they would regret smashing any of my consoles because they're pretty low on money at the moment.

The addition of 'a' means that there is only one way to take this:
modded 360
OR
ps3 (no mention of any mods)
You cannot correctly take it to mean a modded ps3.

About your Wii... Check the soldering of the Wiikey, and eventually resolder it.

If you're really tired of your parents, buy youself a laptop.
Then you can stay at school longer, and use your laptop there instead of a computer. I've got a 2nd hand 1GHZ with 256MB RAM for $100, so I'm pretty sure you can do as well

I dont get stories like this. I remember reading about someone mom doing the same thing with their gameboy. I dont understand how or why someone would just break somebodys possession. Especially if its expensive. But nevertheless, I'm glad it all worked out.
