This reminds me I need to resume getting my money's worth on my Everdrive 64 purchase. IMHO legit hardware is the only way to go with the N64.
Mouse/keyboard + 60fps GoldenEye with 1964 says otherwise

Eh, I still say otherwise.
Part of the charm and hilarity of Goldeneye was playing on those clunky controllers.
Would opening the Switch and putting some Arctic Silver on the CPU/GPU help with that? It's CPU is designed to run at 2ghz, so these "overclocks" are still technically an underclock
Also most of the heat comes from the GPU
I haven't seen the shields cooling, but I'd guess its superior to the Switch's, and is probably the reason for the lower GPU clocks. But probably not the reason for the lower CPU clocks, since up to 1.5ghz on the CPU doesnt really seem to effect temps very muchInteresting, but how is nintendos cooling solution compared to the shield/other tegra systems, form factor could be a major factor in them under clocking too.
Btw, im sure people already have discussed this, I just have nothing better to do.
ULTIMATE SPEEDWhat if you combined overclock and dynarec
Probably, I haven't tried it thoughWould opening the Switch and putting some Arctic Silver on the CPU/GPU help with that?
Yes but if your going to do that go with liquid metal. There was a guide here on gbatemp a long time ago, I think it worked pretty well.Would opening the Switch and putting some Arctic Silver on the CPU/GPU help with that?
Shield tv has a bigger heat sink & fan I think. I'm almost certain the lower clock speed of the cpu has to do with battery life and not heat. Look at the Google pixel c, it runs at 1.9ghz & has inferior cooling compared to the switch.I haven't seen the shields cooling, but I'd guess its superior to the Switch's, and is probably the reason for the lower GPU clocks. Then use the Core downloader to get mupen.
Make sure in the core options that u have dynamic_recompiler on.
No.Whenever things are complete, do you think it will be possible to release as a standalone .nro/without a need for RetroArch {for some that are still on RetroNX}?
Let 'em have a few days offAny news of HOS dynarec? Hopefully it will run Conker bad fur day or the majoras full speed!!!!
Im playing majoras full speed right nowAny news of HOS dynarec? Hopefully it will run Conker bad fur day or the majoras full speed!!!!

Wtf? No, my switch on retroarch with max OC roflThere are several methods. he did not mention that he play an emulation on switch.
a) he use a system which is able to emulate in full speed
b) he play the n3DS version on new 3DS
c) he use virtual console version on Wii(U)
d) or direct on an old N64
It works full speed out of the box since the OC released. All i had to do was turn on threaded video as instructed..I thought this was common knowledge?Would be nice if you share your RA-settings with others.
It is common knowledge, people are just to lazy to do a search on here, on YouTube etc.It works full speed out of the box since the OC released. All i had to do was turn on threaded video as instructed..I thought this was common knowledge?
