Would have been interesting to see how they worked, and what was different between them and regular Wii consoles. Although, it is probably a moot point now, since we now have very accurate Wii USB loading...and GameCube USB loading, for that matter.

The Starlight console...like this one for sale currently? (ending in < 24 hours though)

Heh, I just saw a picture of that when I looked up "nintendo fun center video" on Google. I found the following site...

http://www.gamesnipe...ndo-fun-center/

According to that site, that one is an N64. I guess it could be wrong, but it doesn't look like the one on the link that I mentioned in my previous post.

I've got a couple of questions from jonathanb9595 at HacksDen:
If those dev files get leaked, what would that do for the scene, also, can we make fake NAND of NDEV and flash it to my wii.
Presumably nothing as A) many of them are already leaked and B) AFAIK the scene has just about everything it could want out of the Wii already.

Besides the plethora of hardware incompatibilities that would likely hinder any attempt to flash the NDEV firmware to a Wii, it just plain wouldn't be useful. The NDEV won't do anything besides turn on its cooling fan until it it is hooked up to a computer with the correct drivers and software installed. On the other hand the firmware from an RVT unit may work...

AFAIK, an RVT is just a retail with different certs, a different common key, and a special drive. Except for certain IOS (see below), the software is interchangeable if you repack the wads with the correct cert and common key.

I've installed IOSes and SMs from the SM changer disc on my retail wii without problems. Same goes for the channels. Improper conversion or incompatible IOS (ones named "firmware.128.X.Y.Z.wad" don't work) can brick your wii though. I'd assume the same is true of going the other way (installing retail on RVT should work with similar risk).

Usually when such a big title leaks the Temp will be the first to report about it (going off of historical reports here, Pokemon SV being the latest one I can recall seeing pop up here)

@BigOnYa, Lol I bought a new USB card reader thing on AliExpress last month for I think like 87 cents. Free shipping from China... It arrived it works and honestly I don't understand how it was so cheap.
