Netflix to adapt Gears of War into a live-action film, and an adult-oriented series
Do they even know that this gow thingie basically have no real plot? Well, didn't stopped halo makers.
What kind of "adult oriented" are we talking about here, exactly?
IMO video games do lack sex scenes and love in general. I'm not trying to be a jerk, I really believe video games are too much conservative for sex and love, while being 100% fine with violence. They do have a plot, both in game and in the EU, but the question is whether they pay attention to it and not just make one up with maybe a pointless sex scene or two that everyone mocks.
Most likely gory stuff I assume.
Netflix didn't give much details in the post, but seeing how the franchise itself is M-rated, one can assume the "adult-oriented" aspect could be due to the gore that said show would have, similar to Castlevania possibly.

I remember GTA San Andreas getting in trouble because of hot cafe, but GTA V is fine even with a 10 minutes interactive torture scene that was not even hidden (amazing gaming moment btw, but you got my point).
