Hello bro!@niegelmansell
Hey, dude, I'm looking at the product page on Gamejolt and was going to buy, but is there nothing you can do about this (?) :
I'm not thinking just about me, rather everyone who purchases and would ideally play on his/her console as is without changing the settings.
$9.99 is a great price and I want to add it to my collection.
First of all, thanks for the interest on my game, and for your support. Yeah, the PS3 Version of my game was more like a technical challenge for myself, to develop a fully 3d homebrew game on PS3, the most advanced 3d Homebrew Game on PS3
Since I am not a professional programmer, i tried my best to optimize the game to make it run on PS3. I was not able to optimize the Unreal Engine 3 itself, so the optimization I made was manually on the games assets, mainly reducing the poly count and texture size specifically for the PS3 (and Xbox360).
In the end, I was only able to get Mission 1 and Mission 3 running at 720p resolution, as for the other Missions (Maps), they did not load, rather, it makes the PS3 freeze, due memory overload. So then whenever I remembered that on the first tests I have done of my game on PS3, it used to run normally, without freezing, while I used a USB Capture Card to test my game and run it on the PS3 but using my PC Screen, I realized that the reason why it would run through an USB Capture Card and not while connected to a TV Screen, is the output resolution. Through the USB Capture Card the output resolution was 480p, and the TV 1080p. Just like on PC, to run a game on higher resolutions, you need more video memory, and to run a PS3 Game on PS3 at 1080p uses more video memory of the console than running the game at 480p.
So my game, unfortunatelly does not run on a resolution higher than 480p on the PS3, and I even tried to edit the Param.SFO however, the game always change back to 720p while running on the console, regardless the settings of the Param.SFO.
But you can always change back and forth the video output resolution on the console, it's easy and secure, I have done this millions of times.
I do not post too much here on the forums, because I like to cumulate a lot of new updates to publish them at once, across the thousands of websites on which I promote my game.
But I already began working on Fursan al-Aqsa Remake, in Unreal Engine 4, but this time it will be released officially on Playstation 4 and Playstation 5, also on PC (Steam) and Android (Playstore). The PC Version of the Remake will be a free update for those who own the game on Steam.
I assure that the Remake will be a much modern game, with updated graphics, a more modern COD style gameplay, less hard, more fun, less frustrating.
Here follows some of the updates. I am going to release very soon a First Look Trailer at Fursan al-Aqsa Remake, running on PC and Android (since I did not get yet a Playstation Devkit to showcase the game running on PS4 and PS5), and I will update the forum thread here very soon.
Cheers and best regards!
