Gaming Patapon 2 trouble

Every time I try to play Patapon 2 it locks up (except for the psp home button).
Does it have some sort of piracy protection?

By the way it's a 389MB .cso file from the ESPAL release group. I've tried using the different iso loaders with no successful results, Google just turns up solutions for the original Patapon.

Any idea on how to get this to work?

Try decompressing to an .iso

A little more info would be helpful.

For example, are you even running CFW? If so, which version? Certain games require a certain firmware version or higher (yes, even on CFW).
