I have an iPatched switch. Is it possible to hack in Pokémon to swsh? Probably via using the mobile version of Home?

If your console is patched, you would need either a firmware of 4.1 or an SX modchip in order to hack it. Without those, there are no other currently known exploits.
Nobody is publicly working on one and there may likely never be one or at the very least until the end of the Switch's life. If you want to hack a Switch, just get an unpatched unit.
No ETA, the last softmod only work up to 7.0.1 with support only out for firmware 4.1.0 and below, get an unpatched unit.
There are no estimate time when a softmod exploit would be out for higher firmware, as stated already your option for patched unit is either hard mod and run atmosphere or get a unit that is on firmware 4.1.0, easiest would just get an unpatched unit.
So buy a used tablet from eBay. That should be about the same price as a patched unit.
Because you are not going to be getting a softmod anytime soon if your goal is to hack it. Even if you want to just play legit games, you can still do that on an unpatched unit. There are basically no advantages to a patched unit versus an unpatched unit. At least Mariko devices have extended battery life.
Seriously your options are either:
Buy an exploitable Switch
Or
Buy and install a modchip
Or
Wait for an exploit, which is highly likely to be never

If he said there is no estimated time for the exploit, what point is there in asking a question if the answer was already given to you?

I agree Tears is great. I even played thru it completely twice. I've been hooked on playing thru Fallout 4 again though, after they released the next gen version for Series S/X. Is pretty cool update.

because I already got burned out with breath of the wild, which for the most part is essentially the same game, and then again with master mode, which doesn't work as a new game plus (that always felt bizarre to me)
