ROM Hack Pokemon Sun & Moon - Any way to rewatch old battle videos?

Ever since the most recent patch, the battle videos are now dead, but I haven't updated yet. Anyway I can rewatch battle videos on a separate program (like a battle simulator), or are they lost forever after updating?
