You need to unite track 1 and 2 in a single bin file, use CDMage for that, after uniting apply SetRegion to JP and convert with PSX2PSP changing the GAMEID.
Yes united them via CDMage. 1st try: SLPS01724, the lag was much worst. 2nd try: SLPS01223, to my surprise it finally worked, no more slowdowns anywhere, Apple Market is very smooth now. Just finished Cardon Ruins and everything is fine so far. Next, I'll try the same GameID on BFM too. I'm hoping it might reduce the stuttering in some scenes.

Thank you so much for documenting all this kind sir! You are the real hero.

Edit: Compression at 1, played it on PSTV

Maybe with new chovySign2 (that can use the .sbi files) it will be finally possible to play Formula One 99 on PSVita: https://silica.codes/SilicaAndPina/chovy-sign/releases

I saw you've solved the problem, but afaik it exists a PSN USA official version of Mega Man Legends (1&2). Did you try that version?

Hello @The_Ho again, so we can conclude that the best Game ID to try to solve lag problems in PS One games that present it in adrenaline is the one from Biohazard 2 JP SLPS 01222 or SLPS 01223?

According to the updated compatibility list of a reddit user, several games have some kind of lag, for example Megaman Legends, Tail Concerto, Destruction Derby Raw, Chicken Run, etc.

And another question, could you tell me which Game IDs you used to fix the Spanish version of The Legend of Dragon? I have some doubt about which Game ID should be used for each disc as it is a multidisc game

I'm going to try to fix it myself.

Thank you

PSN USA eboot for 1&2? I believe those also suffer from the same slowdowns and audio sync issues.

Sorry, I never tried Legend of Dragoon on vita/pstv yet. And I would be playing the US version if possible. I actually prefer playing LoD on emulator due to savestates and cheats. I like modifying the addition moves right from the get go. :)

Yes, SilicaAndPina has confirmed that Chovy is compatible with all LC games and still accepts GAMEID changes to increase compatibility, if Formula One 99's problem is indeed LibCrypt, it should work.

SLPS01222/01223 work in a similar way, although most of the time it speeds up and fixes crashing problems in games, it also makes others worse. in Legend Of Dragoon I think there is no problem if you put the same GameID in all of them, I think I already did that a long time ago with some Mult game exactly with SLPS01222 and everything went well, just don't change the MainGameID.

Hello, are you playing on PSVita?. Have you tried the game of the European and American regions?. Tested new IDs?. I suggest: SLPM86500, SLPS01222, SLPS01724, SLPS01156, SLES00972, SLPS02190, SLPS02180.

Change disk ID
Change the compression ratio
change cdda track data
I tried all the basic improvement methods, but it was not improved.
I am using PSVITA3.65 adrenaline.:)

TimeCrisis.txt = If you create 33 .bins for each track
TimeCrisis2.txt=bin/cue
cdda is full of noise no matter how many ways you convert or create it.

I tried it with RetroArch and it didn't play properly

Yes, today I was able to perform a quick test, the songs are there, but full of noise, it seems to work on PSP POPsLoader 3.02, but I'm not sure. I'll take a closer look at the game, if I find a way to fix it I'll post it.

I've tried changing the compression ratio, etc.
Severe processing drop occurs from the menu screen and the bgm becomes slow.
I tried various techniques but could not improve the bgm
I couldn't figure out how to fix it

Could you tell me which GAMIDs you tested with Time Crisis?. So I can test others without repeating. Thanks.

For some games, changing the frequency to 50/60hz works to improve slowdowns, no matter if it's 50 or 60 hz. In the case of this game, try using Zapper 2000 and see if it improves.

I can't believe my eyes. I just found this thread and this is the most interesting PSP development I've seen in years!!! More people need to talk about this and help increase the PS1 games compatibility for the PSP game library. Thank you so much for your work @The_Ho

If you do have some time, I'd like to interest you in a separate project that I helped contribute that involves the PS1 games on the PSP as well, which is enabling analog mode on PS1 games on the non-PSPgo models. Thread link

For some context: It was not possible to use the Analog mode for PS1 games on the PSP until the introduction of the PSPgo which allowed pairing for a DualShock3 Controller which had dual analog sticks. However, it is a shame as Sony never brought that feature to the previous PSP models to make use of the PSP's thumb stick. (1k,2k,3k, street)

So a few years ago, I found that someone made a plugin to map the analog stick of a DS3 controller - to the analog stick on the PSPgo. So basically you can play Analog mode - on the PSPgo's nub, rather than using a separate DS3 controller. Long story short I experimented with the POPS and the special plugin made and got it to work on the other PSP models.

There are still things to iron out so I thought you might find it interesting as it would definitely elevate the PS1 gaming experience on the PSP models. Thanks for reading!

Maybe one could try to hex edit the saves from a psp go to support more games without needing the original save.

Something as simple as changing the game ID in a hex editor could work?

I'll check on my own eventually and tell how it goes, as I find myself quite busy as of now.

Jackie Chan did the repair yesterday I'm finishing the game to see if everything is correct.

Gear Fighter the game runs normally if you activate fast mode but the game gives errors in the subtitles, or change the gameid to SLPS01222 and it's perfect.

Hokuto no Ken Game runs normally if I change game ID to slps01222 I finished the game with that ID and enabled all characters.

Jade game runs fine on PAL version with SLPS01222, there are reports out there.

The others I haven't checked yet, thanks for highlighting, there is something significant that you highlighted for me in this post, I believe it will help me.
Bro how can I get the working version please?
