Hacking PS Vita Proxy server like the one for PS3???

So I have used the ps3 server proxy and noticed there is an option for psp, will that work for ps vita?
I just want to sync my trophies without updating to 3.70. currently on 3.69. because the ps plus subscription will be over in a few months I plan to hack my vita afterwards.
