Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the whole reason devs won't release it not the fact that they think people will use it for only piracy?
If so, this is not going to change anything. They already know people want it; the problem is people aren't going to use it the way they want it.
So......the smart move would instead be to either convince them that people will predominantly use it for things other than piracy, or convince them that this is not a good reason to withhold the exploit. IDK, the first sounds less morally ambiguous and I'm pretty sure people have already tried the second, so yeah.

They have to fall back on somthing.You cant just go arrrhh we want to pirate everything because we are dirty fucking pirates,so we will release this jailbreak when we want.That makes the whole scene look bad.
So you're trying to force people who do this shit in their free time for free, to release a jailbreak to satisfy your piracy needs ? Wot ?

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -
