I'm literally 1-2 meters from the ps4 and with my vita, and I have remote play thru direct connection.
I'm playing FF7r and i'm constantly getting the slow connection warning and lots of moments where it looks like a 240p youtube video.
After lots of testing, I feel it happens more often during scenes where there's lots of action and loading. Is it possible that FF7r is such a demanding game that there's not enough cpu/gpu resources to properly handle remote play?
I just have a hard time believing that vita/ps4's b/g/n, though old, does not have enough bandwidth to stream a 540p video at 30 fps.
And to be clear, when remote play is working and not looking like ass, it works wonderfully.
