That looks so much better than the crappy UMD style.
I am happy now.

Better now?
That's what Centrix meant.

But frankly, I don't see how the cartridge could have looked like other than that.

Looks like a SD card. Only fanboys see a Nintendo cart.

But both PSVita game cards and DS game cards look like SD cards.
Therefore, Nintendo stole the design too. [/sarcasm directed at Centrix]

(P.S.: I'm not a Nintendo fanboy and the first thing I thought when I saw the PSV cartridge was "Looks like a DS cartridge.")

Well, the GC memorys kinda are SD cards, so they ripped SD off before the NDS.

I've never really used UMDs (piracy for the win?) but I've heard nothing but complaints about them. They're loud, slow, and cumbersome. I'm glad to see they've switched to a cart-based format.

Also, if you really want to pull the "OMG THEY COPIED FROM NINTENDO" card then you should feel bad about yourself as a person.

Those are Nintendo fan-tards

Kudos to Sony though for making the switch, I bet flash cards are also cheaper than UMDs.

In all sincerity, what do you expect a cartridge to look like, ya know a cartridge for a small hand held console. Personally I think it looks like a cartridge no more no less, regardless of if it looks like a giant sd card, what the fuck did you expect it to look like, one of the aliens from independence day..... sheesh

@Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the character has the health behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the "greenflatbar" is one of the preset health bars btw
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you can use any bar/sprite. It will just change the width. Ok good luck and have fun. I'm off to go shoot some pool at the bar. Talk to you later.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
