Good morning!
So, today was the 3DS's release day if I'm not mistaken
smile.gif

I'm sure a lot of us tempers have got some questions about the 3DS.
And, to all the launch-day 3DS owners, do us a favor and answer them please
wink.gif

So lets share all our questions here neatly.
I'll go first:
  • What happens if you put 2 AR cards on a table? What will the 3DS do?

EDIT: Fix'd typo.

What happens if you print a giant AR card and put it on the floor?
Well we already know what's gonna happen, but I want to see it!

I want to see this too.
Dear 3DS owners, please visit this site and print the AR cards on large papers and get creative with that and show us!

*Thinks of getting a HUGE AR card as big as myself, and places next to myself. Then when people play AR, they see Mario next to me

another cool thing is on nintendo's site you can reprint out the cards incase you loose the ones you got but that also means you maybe able to have 2 or more samus on the table at one time

its f****g extreme!!!

Edit: Filthy spelling. was to excited to post the video, haha
my comment: I thought the characters could interact with each other -_ -Yknow? like like Mario jumping on Link's head and Link chasing Mario around the table and what not.

I know I should be exited but it's a bit of a let down.Hopefully they'll release something like that with a firmware update.

Anyway, when I get my hands on my 3DS, I know what I'm gonna do:
Immediately scan my Link AR card, take it to a stationary shop where they'll print it on a cardboard for me, place it on the ground, stand next to it, have someone hold my 3DS and picture me next to link!

Or.. many links! And Marios!

i see no reason why I can't impliment these features in the future. As stated in the video they have slight collision detection. Just a few more lines of code and
we'll have Kirby roasting some Pikmin's in her pot, lol!!!

Would love to see this feature! Its look pretty sweet though, a lot better than i thought it would! Seems like the actual screen/camera quality is greatly improved.

Everyone is answering the same question over and over again. Does anyone even glance through the page?

I have only one question, does Mario64DS control any easier to control with the circle than with the dpad, are the diagonals easier to hit for example?

I don't think it makes it easier or harder. Just more comfortable. (that is totally not what she said.)

Video in the AR thread what happens if you bothered to keep all your questions about thing in singular threads rather than create new threads for the same game.

Also, AR Games is a game, not hardware.
Like how Wii Sports was a game, yet you needed a wiimote.
