Easy to use guide aimed for the inexperienced in console hacking.
Thanks to @jerbear64 for writing this with me.
Guide takes you through to installing Unlaunch and HiyaCFW.
If you have any issues or questions about the guide, ask on Discord, GitHub or here on GBAtemp.

I HIGHLY recommend you change to guide to install Unlaunch using TempNand rather than the normal installer, as the installer doesn't flag the files properly whereas TempNand does. This make opening Data Management, DSi Shop, and 3DS Transfer Tool completely safe to launch.

While that may be true, however TempNand requires you to reflash the entire NAND which excessively degrades it. The DSi uses old NAND technology which doesn't last nearly as lont as modern types. There have already been bricks reported from degraded NANDs. If this wasn't an issue, we would have already added it to the guide.

We trust that people will be able to read the big red warning and won't require them to unnecessarily degrade their NAND just to install Unlaunch.

That's fair, although as it stands now your guide won't work for anyone who's used twlnf in the past, so it might be a good idea to leave a little notice for them.

What I'll say in favor of the TempNand approach is that nand degradation usually only comes into play once the number of nand write cycles used has piled quite high. After installing hiyaCFW it should no longer be necessary to write to the entire nand at once because of SD redirection, and since the nand is only written to once, the risk is incredibly low. If it were a high amount of risk, then hardmodding would not be a viable way to obtain homebrew access since it also involves writing the entire nand.

That said, I think that it's safe for twlnf users to give up a single write cycle to use TempNand, considering that there is currently no viable alternative for them

I've gotten past the point of installing Unlaunch and HiyaCFW (I enabled sound on the DSi splash screen with my SD card inserted, and made sure there was no sound without it), but when following the 'Finalizing Setup' portion, TWLit seems to be getting stuck at step 11 (hitting Execute).
The console shows:

Beginning TIA install...
>Reading GUI input...
>Reading TIA...
>Parsing TIA header...
>Reading ticket...
>Reading TMD...
>Reading SRL...
>Reading public save...
>Reading private save...
>Reading banner save...

I've given it 10 minutes without it showing any noticeable change. If I put the card in my DSi at that point, it doesn't seem to have the 'gift box' icon as expected.

I have the Input Tia set to the SRLoader.tia file from the 3.4.2 release (in an otherwise empty folder on my desktop), and the Install Dir set to D:\, which is what my SD card was mounted to (it's the default 2 GB card that came with the DSi, if that matters). I've also tried with and without my console ID.

Any ideas? Did I miss something simple in an earlier step?
