It was working on 2.2.0 ?
It's strange, because it's working perfectly on my consoles.
Maybe your SD Card is defective, test it with h2wtest.

Just tried it with the 2.2.0 Version and the DS doesnt freeze.
Also used the Tool and my SD Card works great without any problems.

I'll give it a try with my other systems and see if there is the freeze-problem too.

Edit:
After testing with my systems I figured out what happened.
It seems freeshop freezes for about 30 seconds, when starting to install somehing like the seed or the game itself.
Also: if the SD is bigger the freeze will last longer.
I got this problem with all of my systems. The only difference is how long the freeze is.

With an actual active fork, I feel like it would be a better idea for a staff member to edit the main thread to forward to that fork and lock this thread. There's really no reason to continue this thread when someone has already picked up the project.
