Huh. Version 0.5.0 can play at 144p and 240p just fine... Updating...

Video playback works for 144p, 240p, and 360p. What version are you using?

v0.5.0 and I have also tried compiling the release, all of which didn't work. I'm using a New 3DS (2015) model.

I'll try updating to the latest version, seeing as I haven't used it in a while. And hopefully, that might fix it.

You should probably post the command you're using to encode the videos. If you're using random videos that you didn't encode yourself, then that's probably why they don't work. A 3DS is not as robust as a PC when it comes to video playback.

Yep I get that error with pretty much every video I try. Weird thing is a video I watched fine a few days ago now also has that error.

It probably means YouTube made changes that have broken youtube-dl. A tool like this requires constant updates to keep pace with Google's pointless tinkering.

Yeah, I had it on some MV's. the only seemingly working solution is to launch it on its web app...

i notice that a lot too, idk what it is, also whenever i try to watch anything now, it doesn’t work, i feel like the update ruined it, ALSO STAN NEWJEANS>>

Didn't expect to see another NewJeans fan here! Funnily enough, I found out about this issue while trying to watch the OMG m/v. Also, judging by your pfp, you're also a Hanni bias too?

Anyways, it seems like the app broke again recently, since I'm getting an error when trying to watch anything.

On regards to thirdtube, it is my main way of watching YouTube because i can browse for new videos' and no adds.

yeah i never expected to see a newjeans fan here too, very rare to find

So, every channel page just shows as blank and the Subscribed page doesn't show any of the channels that i am subscribed to and so nothing loads in the news page.
I'm not the only one having this issue right? and also any reaseon the videos description got removed many updates ago?
