Just then I made one for Wii U.
I assume that you have already placed the ScummVM into the apps/ folder, please download the files installer that I made and follow as below:

1) Go to the vWii, and install the ScummVM Forwarder vWii.wad.

2)
Once you installed the vWii ScummVM Forwarder, go back to the Wii U Menu and install the Wii U channel/icon forwarder by the WUP Installer GX2.

Now you will have the Icon ScummVM in your Wii U Menu, that will open you directly the ScummVM app. To navigate into the ScummVM you need to use the Wii controller. The Wii U pad as controller it doesn't work!!!

Please, let me know if everything it's fine ;).

Thanks a lot, but I made myself up, with wiu2hbc forwarder and ftped, the icons and banners. There is avantage for one or another mthod ? hbl2hbc or forwarder (WiiVC ?), or haxchi ?
Anyway i keep your launcher somewere

Yes , they are.
Haxchi forwarded Method = it's more used for the WiiU Hombrew launcher apps in .elf extension, to be launched by the Wii U menu. So, it's used for the apps that the other Methods cannot create in anyway the Forwarded to the Wii U Menu's. It's preferred to use it as "last beach" , especially for the reason that can brick the console if you mistake to install your forwarded.

Hbl2hbc = it's nice if you want launch vWii app from the HBL WiiU without pass through the vWii and so on but you have to enter always from the HBL and create the txt forwarded settings and place into the root of the SD. You can use the installer to be installed and be launched from the Wii U but if one day you want use this installer to go directly in the vWii Homebrew Menu you have to uninstall the one that you made and use the WUP Hbl2hbc installer to go from the Wii U directly into the vWii Homebrew. And use only the Wii controller.

The one that I made for you by WUP installation, you have the forwarded from the Wii U directly to the app of the vWii without any other file (except to install the WAD for the vWii), and has applied new serial ID to don't be in conflict one day with something else that you will or are installed for forward something else. Also the benefit of that, it's that you can use the Wii u Pad to control the vWii apps (except your, because goes in conflict with the app that need the same cIOS that use the Wii U pad to working, for this reason I didn't activated the controller from the Wii U pad)

I used wiu2hbc and working like a charm. No need gamepad for scummvm, and wiiflow. By the way, wiiflow regognize pro controller.
There is ways to have multi hbl2hbc and wiiu2hbc forwarders, by have multi .txt and hex edited forwaders. Never tryied yet. And safer by the way.
I will install you forwarder to see if the icons are nicer. And use my config to launch wiiflow

Ok adopted ! No offense but iconTex.tga is not the right aspect ratio for wiiu square launchers, but it's allright.

Can you make one for wiiflow (not in virtual console mode) ?
Thxs
It's ok, you mean the wording "shrinked" don't like? Or something else? If you have one example or one iconTex.tga to let it look much better I will be happy to fix

edit: do you mean the little white space around, if yes let me adjust it....I will send you another one
edit 2: I fixed the icon, and uploaded the new installer to my previous posts. Go to the same message to download it, unistall the one that you have now and reinstall the new one that I re-uploaded.

Yes no problems at all, and you can make multiple of them....what I wrote it's that this method, have to be open the HBL and than click on the personalized forwarded. So, it's not directly opened from the WiiU Menu. And the unique installer from the WiiU menu the Hbl2hbc there are someone that use it (the same installer to open with the graphics of the Hbl2hbc) to open one specific vWii app; but this way you can do one time only , so cannot be used for the multiple .txt forwarded settings

Is there a forwarder like this that redirects to this version of the homebrew channel? https://github.com/FIX94/hbc/releases
I installed the WAD and it added a second homebrew channel to the vWii. When you launch it through that, you to use the Pro Controller. But this forwarder still goes to the old one that requires a wiimote (probably because the title id was changed to OHBC). So close to not having to switch controllers...

EDIT: never mind I’m dumb, you just have to add a text file on the SD card root named wiiu2hbc.txt and put:
Code:
OHBC=Homebrew Channel

How can I change the icon + picture for this?

Also can the forwarder channel be installed for more than 1 homebrew channel?

That is great work. Compliments. Is it also possible to change the graphics so it becomes a WiiU2Nintendont Forwarder somehow?

I know this is an old thread but this is still a really useful forwarder. It looks like the download has been removed from the Homebrew App Store that was hosting the download. Could we please get a new download link?

The link to the zip will work if you paste it into the URL bar and hit enter.

Does anyone have a version of this channel with gamepad support?
I want to boot HBC with gamepad support and then into Nintendont.

I really appreciate your effort, thank you :grog::grog::grog:

There are a couple of issue, however.
This WUP channel boots to HBC fine, but doesn't support gamepad.
There's no message about Wii Remote Only, but gamepad doesn't do anything.
IDK how you made this channel, but Teconmoons VC Injector has an option for vertical Wiimote emulation.

Another issue, which may be beyond your control, is that Nintendont can't access my Ustealth drive.
If I boot the same Nintendont dol through HBC, but booted manual like
WiiU>vWii>HBC>Nintendont
The drive is found without issue.
This happened with other forwarders I've made including a WiiU>Nintendont channel.
I believe this is caused by the injection but I have no idea why.

that's odd. I am still "kind of sure" it is the version that finally worked for me. I need to take a look at what other versions of HBL2HBC I have stored on my NAS in the evening; it took a while to find one that worked.

btw, there is a dedicated forwarder for Nintendont that allows using the gamepad (it additionally requires a forwarder within the vWii menu to Nintendont). I cannot remember which one of those two I am using, maybe even both are working:

Thanks for the reply.

These forwarders work to launch Nintendont with gamepad support and widescreen.
However, it still doesn't see my UStealth USB drive as it does when launching "vanilla" from HBC.
Perhaps this is because of my 2nd WiiU drive, but idk why Nintendont would prefer it since it's connect to front USB ports and UStealth is in top back port.

In general, it is highly recommended to just use one HDD attached to the Wii u at the same time because of (in)compatibility. You might just have run in such a compatibility issue.

After testing, I can confirm that it's not the 2nd drives fault, but something to do with the gamepad/widescreen injection.
I unhid the UStealth USB and disconnected the WiiU formatted drive.
The injected forwarder was still "unable to read FAT device"...
However, the manual HBC launch with no gamepad support and 4:3 reads USteath hidden/unhidden and both with the WiiU drive connected.
fwiw, I think the whole point of Ustealth is to allow 2 attached drives without the WiiU menu nagging to enter data management.

When an inject or VC is launched with gamepad support, what is different?
Is the USB module different or something?

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
