His dad must be around 60~65 years while Rich is in his 40's so it's a bit peculiar that his father despite being older, looks healthier, with a more natural skin color, and more energetic. I'd honestly not mind to watch videos of Rich's dad disassembling consoles and talking about whatever. :P

At 4:12 he says it's from Covid that he looks sick and unwell, maybe, maybe not.

I don't know who this guy is, nor who his dad is.

What I'm curious is what is this DKOldies thing that is popping up everywhere? Is it a store scamming people or something like that? And why so many drama?

It's an online vendor that sells retro game products at 1.5-2x the usual asking price (they sell for more than what you might find on ebay for instance)

The biggest gripe I have seen is people being upset that they sell supposedly refurbished game consoles that have dust inside of them, scuffs and generally aren't worth the asking price (with no way of knowing what the actual condition of the console will be in before it arrives)

People also dislike them for supposedly causing some inflation in the prices of retro games

The way I see it tho, it's really your own fault if you are going to pay those ridiculous prices when you can find the product for a much better price on ebay

It's like getting mad that a thrift store sells old pants for $20 when you could just go to goodwill instead

This guy actually refurbished an N64 he bought from DKOldies and after he cleaned it himself... It actually works!

DKO's "refurbishment" is sticking their sticker and that's it.

Well the thing is he make more money just making the video about dk oldies, I do agree that it is overprice, you can find a lot cheaper one like on ebay, that what I did with a PS3, got a PS3 few years ago for $70, came with few games, two controllers, so it was like a bargain.

About old video game prices, there are this Wata Games and now this DKOldies thing that I've just learned about, you may blame them for video game prices at will, and indeed they may have some small degree of blame on that. But the real problem, the big one, nobody talks about, and that is the entity named "Youtubers". That is the REAL inflation origin.

DKOldies' videos are filled with downvotes and on this video below, at 0:45 you see a very odd chart:

"Fuck around and find out" Huh 🤔

I believe he was talking about the fat dude, I don't know who is that person either.
ReviewTech is just a YouTuber who "covers" gaming news. And by covers, I mean he pumps out like 10 videos a week and will argue with seemingly anyone that doesn't like him. I started watching him years ago following some GameStop scandal and ended up ignoring him when I saw how constant his content was. He likely takes ideas for videos from sites like this then throws them together fast. Useless channel to watch really.

@Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the character has the health behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the "greenflatbar" is one of the preset health bars btw
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you can use any bar/sprite. It will just change the width. Ok good luck and have fun. I'm off to go shoot some pool at the bar. Talk to you later.
    +1
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why does the health behavior exist if you can just use a variable?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
and nope the number still doesnt change

ok im gonna make my own asset
