I've seen some crazy stuff run on the 3DS, I've seen Win 3.1, 95, 98 run on it. But what piqued my interest was running linux on it. It was seriously cool. So it got me to wondering, can I run ARM images on 3DS? Specifically, I am interested in running Kali Linux on my n3DS. It has an image that is specifically for ARM processors. So, does anyone know anything about running ARM images on 3DS?

Yeah. That's why I'm wondering if ARM images can be run natively on 3DS.
Imagine war driving with a 3DS xD

If you can run a linux kernel, maybe you can use a flavor of linux, such as Kali. I don't know. Maybe I can screw around with the linux image to see what I can do.

You would be better off with a rooted Android phone and Linux in a chroot environment. Works great. Use Kali almost weekly on my OG Moto X. Packet injection is not supported on most phones.

Why would you want Kali? The 3DS wireless chipset is garbage, and it doesn't have hardly any of the processing power necessary to perform any sort of "pen testing". You'll have to be 1337 with a phone, unfortunately.
