Is there a tool that can extract the data from a .sav file for MH4U? When I try to extract the .sav for my old save file, I get a "can't access save data archive" error.

Yes there is.. just click the little sex symbol next to the PID.

I need something that can take the .sav and create a user file from it, not something that I can use to edit a user file.

I wouldn't think so since there isn't a million people saying how this is what we've been waiting for and all that stuff.
IF they did they most likely wouldn't keep it away from the community.

You don't need kernel to extract/inject saves.

Just asking, did everything went alright when you did it? It's just that when I tried to export the save data, it showed nothing except the weird colored pixels at the left side of the screen, and I was wondering if you had something similar.

After the glitchy screens it showed me instructions. A for backup save, B for import save and X for exit. And everything alright, for backing up and importing.

No one. I started cn via sky3ds to start the exploit

So now I used the ssb4 cardridge and started the app. I got the same error

Before starting the save manager, it asks you to select a title. You must press left/right in the D-Pad so you can select which title to use. The game you currently have on Sky3DS should be selectable.

The default is System Settings, moving left or right on D-Pad goes through a list. Try it. Right after pressing A once on the app.
