For the past several years, PayPal has been getting the bad rap among freelancers, including those in the Philippines, for its ridiculously low exchange rates in comparison to the actual global exchange rate (see images above).

As it turns out, there is actually a secret to bypassing it, which only some people know.

This blog sheds some light on the matter as well as lay out the ways to go about it.

So, yeah, PayPal is not such a bad payment platform, after all.

But one has to work on it in order to leverage the fact.

Side note: I am not sure if the same trick applies to other currencies in another country; however, it is well worth the try.
