Squeaky music?

For what ever reason, some music I had recently downloaded (not from Itunes or any store) but from the internet when played on my DS lites (cyclo is the card) gives a bit of "squeak" sound, for EVERY track of the "album" at the begging of it. I've played the music on my computer (using foobar) and it DOESN'T make the noise WHAT SO EVER.

I wonder if my PSP will make it as well. Makes no noise what-so-ever. Plays perfectly fine. So it's the DS.

yes it's the audio processor of the DS not a very good one. PSP is more multi-media oriented so it doesn't make that hiss.

And yet that is the ONLY "OST" I have that will do that. ALL the rest of the 2000 - 2800 songs I have make NO sound what-so-ever and plays the music like any other player would.

Might be something in the file unsupported by your player of choice. Have you tried other players?

I use imp-ng-2-alpha on my DS and it's the ONLY collection of music that does this. Everything else plays the music normally.

Have you tried it with Moonshell?

I don't think the firmware I run can run it. B4 or w/e the latest "beta" is for cyclo.
