Rom compressed in LZ77... strange ... isnt it?

Can't you LZ77 other games?
Does the manual work on a US Wii?
Will installing/removing the region-free wad cause any problems for buying the real US version, should it come out?

1 - I'm not sure what you are asking?

2 - No, because it seems to try and display the manual in a different setting from what the rom uses. Basically, it is trying to display the manual in PAL60 which causes the wad to load a blank screen. I have a hunch how I can fix this problem as I think it uses one of the other TV settings in the compressed .dol file.

3 - When the US version gets released, if you download it onto your US Wii, it will be stored as separate channel due to have a different ID from the PAL one. So you won't encounter any problems.

i have read the whole thread but there has been so much testing i don't know how to make PAL version work. Is there even a 100% working release? i mean, it is meant for playing on a PAL wii, isnt it?

0RANGECHICKEN's is a bad dump delete it. as for the rest use Google or get £7 get a mastercard/Visa AND BUY THE GAME LIKE WE ALL DID

To inject a new game into MRPG PAL (Tested with mario rpg spanish translated rom)


1-i decompress 5.app with u8extr.exe
2-Compress newgame to Lz77 --> "gbalzss.exe e my_game.smc LZ77JCBE.rom"
3-With u8coes.exe repack the 5.app with the new LZ77JCBE.rom
4-Used wwpacker16 to pack the wad again with "_wwpacker-RegionFree.bat"

Thats all ... more or lease... you need to change the Game ID as well

Strange, it keeps coming up with the 'Wii Memory is corrupt' message. I must be doing something wrong but I can't think what it is. I followed the steps correctly.

Try without changing the ID ... i did it now and with diferent id i get an error... (in a fast test, im at work and i cant spend many time, sorry)

PD: I tried to inject Dragon Ball Hyper Dimensions and DIDNT work to me, (in 1.app appears that game on a list)
