I'ts my least favorite mario game. But still a great game in co-op.

For children and the people not used to video games, the slow speed of the movement on original 3d world is more welcome.

This one is more challenging, for a mario game.

No, I'm not playing the leaked version

So erm, I have 5 Mario's in my game, it's been around 4 years since I sold my wii u and played this, but i thought the maximum was 4 ?? or am i remembering wrong (again) ?

you can get five if you get a cherry on the map, but four is the max if it's from a block. :)

You can get five in the level as there's one in a hidden block near the Fire Bro at the end.

I don't think you can store or get Double Cherries from the map

I mean the stage itself. if the cherry is visible, you can get up to five. if they're hidden in a block, you'll get a coin if you have four Marios. there's a hidden block right near the flag pole, which will have a cherry only as long as you have less than four Marios.

Did you get the one on top of the Arch?
yeah i only saw that one, and the kitten that was nearby that big cat, i have no clue where the last one is

Has anyone investigated converting Wii U saves to Switch yet? Simply copying GameData.bin isn't sufficient.
yeah the sizes are different. i tried getting a rosalina unlocked save with 0% completion into the game and it didn't work

nothing major see patch notes

update makes some improvements to the sticker menu. A jittering issue with the menu has been smoothed out, and overall animation for the sticker menu has been improved."

If I understood right you cannot get more than four unless two Cherries are spawned ?

In this case that's not what I had and still finished the level with 5 characters

that's the way it is in the wii u version. I can't speak of the switch version. you can't get more than four characters unless the cherry is on the map screen.

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
