Select the beta version in the style changer at the bottom left of the screen and feel free to use it as your daily driver - report all bugs and feedback in this thread.

I've tweaked a few colours here and there to tone down glaringly bright fonts etc. so you may notice a few slight differences. But then again, you might not notice...

I've seen a few screenshots of the other TS2 dark themes and none are comparable to this one. You have done excellent work here shaun!

Paragraphs are displayed white on the dark theme still:

Another small thing I noticed was the header on the Smilies page is white also:

Other than that, no more glaring issues to report right now

The tweaked colors are pretty good, everything is easy to read.
There are a couple of issues that have been around for a while that I assumed were already known since they are fairly obvious (at least to me)

As Tom mentioned, the shoutbox on the shoutbox page has a white background making text very hard to read.

The other issue is the expanded news items on the front page. I've realized that many people might not even know this feature exist (Thug certainly didn't), but in the portal settings there's a setting to enable expand toggles on news items, and I use this feature a lot since it lets me read news posts in full without ever leaving the portal.
Anyway, the background on expanded news items is white, I guess no one else has noticed since no one uses that feature.

Those two are really only the issues I've noticed that remain. I've never actually noticed the issues Voxel mentioned, I guess the [ p ] BBcode isn't used very often.
I like this way better than the old dark theme, the colors suit the site very well, it's like GBAtemp at night. Looking forward to the AMOLED mode so I can try it out and see which I like better.

When the little quirks are ironed out, this might be the ONE time I use a website/app/anything's dark theme. It looks really nice so far!

just tried out the expand toggle for the news (first of all, and amazing feature) and the toggle icon is actually pretty difficult to spot.

Thanks guys! Keep them coming if you can find them! I'm a perfectionist so even if something looks a little off I want to hear it.

And yes, once this is done and dusted I plan a deep black AMOLED skin that has minimal background colours apart from pure black and perhaps faint borders around boxes/sections so navigation is easier.

The tags also apply for member roles like Patrons.

No, they show up like you said. I just haven't seen it used anywhere else.

I use expand on click. That way it expands no matter where I click (unless I click the date then it shows the thread)
I know that's not relevant to the issue, it's just a nice feature
