Just another thread discussing the newly released Google Stadia, and the horrible performance it has.

Also, I never thought my strip would be this accurate, considering how long ago it was:

I knew this would be a dumpster fire. I just wish Google had been transparent about its limitations.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt until the Stadia was released.
Now it's out there and I have lost complete confidence in the project. Read a ton of articles about it. For the Stadia to be successful from this point onwards, not only they would have to actually GET IT TO WORK properly as advertised, but after they do so, they will have to reverse all the awful PR caused by the horrific release. They will then also have to figure out a proper business model that will actually be of interest to the general public, which is not the case right now.
In other words, the chances for success I believe are extremely thin, if not non-existent.

Pretty much. You summarized everything.

Also costy (and everyone else), have a look at this review of Google Stadia:

Dear LORD the lag is atrocious.

I think it's funny how they lied completely with their ad campaign. All the youtube ads were like "iNsTaNt ReLiEf FRom AnnOYiNg DOwNLOads ANd LaG" like, no. not at all. lol

Good news. I hope this fails because I don't want any half-decent game to be a streaming exclusive which become inaccessible offline, when the service discontinues or if they get pulled from the service.

Umm the google stadia is just a bit sad.
You know what I mean. And also there are no free games which means a lot of children that were excited to start playing right away get disappointed.
And it is only digital so yeah...

But I know it won't be long. Until it turns in to a pretty princess
