The only time the Palestinian leadership seemed to try for peace was (in 1993) when it was most isolated after the fall of their allies in the soviet union.
I say tried because it seems to me that they cared more about lining their pockets and gaining political power than bettering the Palestinian people. I think it's nearly 20 years since they last had an election. Anyway, international isolation of Israel can only push the Israeli people (and because it is a democracy, its government) further to the right. That will only lead to more tribalism and the plight of the Palestinian people will matter less and less. Israel has a nuclear arsenal is isn't going anywhere no matter what happens internationally. I think we need the Palestinian territories to be governed under UN administration with a military peacekeeping force. Sustained prosperity free from violence will, after a decade or two, lead to the potential for successful peace negotiations.

Then read The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy to understand why politicians in the US put Israel's interests over our own.

You can read and watch as much propogande as you want buddy. It will not change the fact that Israel was invaded by terrorists that brutally murdered/raped/tortured and kidnapped over a thousand people. Don't you find it weird how they refuse to submit any evidence for their rape claim? Didn't you see how they admitted to killing their own during Oct. 7? This is not how works the international laws. Giving the massacre of WW2 mmost of the countries signed international conventions on war. We can't strictily forbid war, because in order to stop a war you have to go to war, what you are supposed to prevent, so you can't just say war is a crime, it always depends of the context. But internationnal laws put the framework of what actions are allowed even it is individual crimes it is not a "war crime".
And their is a concrete list of war crimes, even if you are on war, some limits you can't cross in order to prevent the war from escalating to the worst methods.
- Those war crimes includes attacking civilians intentionnaly
- Destroying buildings that are not millitary (especially hospitals, shelters, religious building etc..)
- Attacking humanitarian missions
- Killing soliders who surrendered
- Deporting people from their land
- Torture, rape slavery and other inhuman or degrading treatments
- Using weapons that are strictly forbidden (toxic gas, acids and chemical weapons)
- Starving civilians
- Using childs on the conflict
And some of those when reaching extreme gravity become crimes against humanity that doesn't just incriminate the states but incriminates all people who participate on those, like genocides.
