They gave away Sims 2 with all the DLC a while back and I still play it from time to time. I'd argue it's a better game than 4, even if it is a little rough around the edges nowadays.

They gave the sims 2 and DLCs for free to the guys who owned the physical versino tho, wich i had and redemed it on origin (you just had to put the serial on your box to unlock it).

the greedy assholes and their patron pages ruined the sims forever. you basically can't get the real good mods now without shelling out $ and hardly anyone releases free mods anymore on mts they all have them locked behind their paywall patron pages.

the atual game with no mods whatsoever is just garbage. it's not even the sims 4 it's the sims 2 REMADE but with all the good stuff stripped out and put behind DLC you don't even have cars!! fuck EA for destroying yet another franchise
