Saw this in an issue of GI, it got a good review. I might check it out.

EDIT:

After getting a feel of it on Practice Mode. I went into Championship mode, now there was some neat things in it!
If you're looking for a good GBA racer without the 3D look and occasional slowdown, this is a definite play.

Takes a little practice to get in first place though.

And yes, WEAPONS ENABLED!
cant have a top-down view racing game without weapons

though I wonder whycars like those have weapons?
I talked to the local car dealer and he said they dont come with weapons.
What the smeck? XD
First time Ive ever seen real car based rendered sprites use weapons

Now poeple like me will expect them to have weapons when buying them IRL.
Oh the insanity! XD
Its just not fair really ;p

This truly is a good game - this is the style of racer I'd like to see more of, rather than the generic '3d pixelated mess' that most developers seem to aim for on the GBA. This game both looks and plays great, which seems to be a rare combination these days.

I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with this game. Controls are very responsive, the cars handle well, and there's plenty of stuff to do. The whole game is just made very well. The built in features of each car are pretty nice, too. I've been using Fat Cat, simply so I can make more money.
