This game sucks the fattest dick. Here in the twilight of the GBA era we see nothing but crap crap crap games.

I have to agree with this gentleman's assessment. A remarkably joyless Nintendo release.

My initial reaction to Mario Party Advance:

YOU PUT THAT SAME STUPID FUCKING HEALTH WARNING IN THE GAMES AS ON THE DS! NOW THERE ARE TWO OF THEM! ARGH I HATE YOU NINTENDO DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!!!11!!!!!

Well my 10 year old daughter hasn't put it down. She must have played about 10+ hours on it by now.
I think it's a good game for the age group it's designed for.

I like the gadgets better than the stuff you can unlock in wario ware touched.
But overall it's dissapointing.

I was thumbing through RSS feeds and noticed that Gamespot had given it a 6.5 "LMAO" review. They seem to have replaced all of their one-word ratings with stuff like "ROFLMAO" and "flop" (read other reviews).

I think the title is great - it's unlike the 6 games we're already used to because this one is seriously geared towards a single-player only experience. However, since I played all the other Mario Party games pretty heavily on single player, it doesn't detract from the game at all for me. It could be about $10-$15 cheaper for the disappointment (It's $39.99 in Canada), as in expecting a multiplayer on-the-go extravanza.

Ah well, I like it.
