Hmm.....and you know, considering that the people who made this port shut down a good eon or so ago, I wonder how long this 1.1 version has been floating around....

tellingly, they removed all reference to metal max from their site though (there was a legal wrangle over it resulting in the 2nd port being cancelled, despite in beta form).
the original license belonged to data east (now bankrupt) and changed hands to the boss of crea-tech i think. that's where the problems arose.

the new title is being developed by success and crea-tech and many of the original staff are working on it apparently.

Ah, thank you! it's always nice when there's someone more informed than me around ^^;

I can't wait to hear how the music of the PS2 version sounds. The original music went in many different ways...but I'll be happy if we get a Guilty Gear-style version of "Battle: Wanted".

from what i hear, there are remixed tunes from the original, though nothing has been set in stone yet
