You wanna go toe to toe about verbal gaffes? Really? How about physical gaffes? Biden routinely gets taken out by stairs and sand bags.

You are not a serious person.

Biden has a documented stutter and verbal gaffs are a symptom of this.

That said, its another false equivalency when you look at how much worse Trump was, with that person camera woman thing, covfefe, big water, and etc. Like, he's objectively way worse when it comes do this and he doesn't have a stutter:

Go watch the Clarence Thomas hearings. Biden never stuttered one time. In fact, go watch any time he has spoken before 2020. Unless you believe he just acquired this stutter in the last 4 years. To which, I'll call bullshit.

I have a stutter. It never made me make up words. It's also gotten to the point where I can hide it as I've gotten older. You have no idea what you are talking about here.

Try again.

Here at 1:15 he is stuttering

Once again, stuttering does not force somebody to make up incoherent words. There is stuttering and then there is dementia.

Biden is also a plagiarist and liar. He's lying about his "stuttering" and the billionaire corporate media supports his lies. Just like when he says he didn't get involved in Hunter's business dealings and now we see he received checks directly from China. Everything about Biden is a lie.

Next you're gonna say that Biden's stutter made him fall up stairs, fall off his bike and trip over a sand bag.

He does have a stutter

His stutter obviously doesn't explain all of his gaffes, and he has always had gaffes and they are getting worse

But it's silly to pretend he doesn't have a history of stutter when he does

You've already been proven wrong on this.

Right, like Trump last week talking about how Obama is currently president. Clear sign of dementia.
Hey now Trump has a clean bill of health, he passed a dementia screen with 100% flying colors

He had to remember 5 words: pen, apple, chair, dog, cat after 5 minutes - could you do that? Didn't think so

It's not speculation

I'm sorry, I didn't quote enough of your post. The part I meant was speculation was when you said, "Whole lot of people died from that ..." In hindsight it might have been a shortsighted move, but you don't know it actually caused any more deaths. I acknowledge it's not unreasonable for you to think so, but you don't know. On my side, I see that Trump bungled the Covid response because there was a Covid response. This is speculation on my part, but I don't think in the long run there would have been any more excess death if we hadn't done the "lockdowns." the masks, or any of that shit. It was a virus, it was going to kill as many as it took to force it to mutate into weaker variants. That's what a novel virus does. Sounds cruel, but we ended up with a bunch of dead people anyway. Sweden did nothing and had half the excess death rate of the US. There are ways to wiggle around and twist that, but it's a fact.

I've been watching Joe Biden talk since the 70's. No difficulties until the last 5 years or so.

Plagiarism, on the other hand. Yeah, that's documented.

For the first three months or so, all Trump did was downplay the amount of cases in the US. There are any number of ways that time could've been used more wisely, and a federal response team would've been researching and containing the virus months before Trump was even willing to acknowledge it publicly at all.

Several states like Florida didn't ever really lock down, and as a result the number of excess deaths got so high that they decided to stop reporting it altogether.

I find it ironic you mention the billionaire corporate media in so many of your posts. The fact that you mention that implies you have something against the rich and/or wealthy and powerful corporations, but you defend Trump, a self-proclaimed billionaire, who raised the deficit almost 8 trillion dollars in a single term by giving tax cuts that primarily benefited mega corporations and the wealthy.

The only reason I used that one was because you specifically referenced WW3, so it was still fairly fresh.

If we go after each of their gaffes, we're going to be here all damn day. Even before Biden ran for president, everyone knew he was a gaffe machine. But that's all they were. My personal favorite is when he asked the guy in a wheelchair to stand up.

Trump on the other hand rambled quite a bit, but was still mostly on the ball. Over the last year though, his decline has been quite noticeable. I think the stress of campaigning while dealing with four trials is getting to him. Although, that would happen to anyone at his age.

I know you won't believe me, but the internet really is so easy, you could probably manage it. All you need is curiosity and confidence. Try using it sometime.

You want to compare Biden's ability to make up words and his struggles of getting off a stage, walking up stairs and sniffing children to Trump misspeaking while speaking for over an hour off teleprompter. The signs of Trump having dementia are as elusive as Don Jr's cocaine use. The left keeps claiming it, but never shows any proof. Yet, there is ample proof of Biden's dementia and Hunter's crack use that you conveniently ignore. That's why nobody believes you. Your lies are so easily disprovable, a third grader would roll their eyes at you.

Your sources are tabloid sites and the best you can do is plagiarism? Might as well lean all the way in to the ridiculousness and claim Biden is pregnant with a half-alien, half-zombie baby.

I don't continue believing a media who lied us into war in Vietnam and Iraq, Russian collusion, the validity of Hunter's laptop and all the other "unnamed sources" "anonymous sources" stories they ran against Trump. They screamed at us that Trump would get us into World War III. That was not only a lie, the guy they defend is sleep walking us straight into World War III while he spends every single weekend on a beach and there's not a peep out of the leftists here who cried every time Trump took world leaders golfing. The hypocrisy is beyond astounding now.

The guy still holds major rallies, campaigns in multiple states per day, has an ongoing bullshit trial, and still runs his companies and plays golf. The guy has a longer daily schedule than you do.

All the left wing sources were paywalled and I knew nobody here could afford to pay. But if you want to dispute that Biden dropped out of the 1988 presidential race because of plagiarism, then by all means, feel free to look like a fool. You look like a fool regardless.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
