Twitch is now on the Switch, and once you're done being amused by both names rhyming or feeling frustrated that there still is no Netflix app, you'll be able to go download Twitch from the Nintendo eShop. Through the Twitch app, you'll be able to watch livestreams on your TV in docked mode, or view them on the Switch screen itself in handheld mode. It doesn't give users the ability to stream from the console, nor can you use the Twitch chat--instead, the Switch version will give you a QR code to open the chat on your phone.

Half the time when I'm playing on my ps4/5 or my switch, I have twitch or YouTube on my phone to the side. I'm ether watching a friend of mine trying to stream on twitch to help bump up his views(with out him knowing) or watching some random tech video in the background. I don't need twitch switch.

I was hoping they would implement streaming directly from the console, but it was looking unrealistic considering that a lot of games don't even have an option to record clips, and the amount of ram available.

But I really don't like the idea that you have to close the game you are currently playing to use any streaming service on the switch (youtube, funimation), not having some basic multitasking for those kinds of apps was a terrible design choice.
