Totally late reply. FFXIII at least looked pretty and had good music. Deux Ex was boring and dull...and grey,

It was *supposed* to be grey - it's a display of chaotic and distopian future. It was far from dull - the in-game world is actually quite extensive and open for exploration. I loved every bit of it.

Dungeon Siege...I admit I only played the third one, and that game doesn't even survive being fun outside of a 15 minute window, and the graphics aren't great,

It's a classic in the genre.

Hitman is meh,

Hitman is a one-of-a-kind game. Admittedly for a very specific audience, but still, it's a lovely combination of stealth, tactics and action.

and Tomb Raider I did admit was somehow AAA despite being awful. If any of those are actually AAA, I fear for the future of gaming. FFXIII isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be honestly.

How is the new Tomb Rider awful? It's a re-invisioned version, but that doesn't cross it out. FFXIII is widely considered to be an interactive FMV. I don't think the odds are stacked up favourably to you as far as your arguments are concerned.

Yeah, no. Even if it was, that doesn't mean it isn't an AAA game.

I'd say Tomb Raider since it appears it won't be a Japanese game being ported. =O
