Honestly man, you should just wait for the ixtreme lt firmware. Like gaisuto said, all you're doing is getting yourself banned again.

I really should...but who knows when that will come out. Its been put back into testing again so we won't be getting it anytime soon. Maybe I will just wait it out on my PS3.

You do realize you can still play the banned 360, just not on Live.
Don't forget that a lot of games still have a solid single player.

the new xbox 360 firmware has now been out for sometime (version 1.6).

went down to my local game store a few hours ago and had a chat with the shop owner.
they said they can install the new firmware and have the xbox un-banned.
said it's money back guarantee but that wasn't a big deal since he only charges 20£ to do it.

am currently in the middle of assissins creed2 so i'm won't give in my xbox till next week.
however i was assured that he's successfully unbanned more than 20 other consoles.
will post my own results as soon as i get it done.

Homebrew is advancing in the 360 scene...I believe they found a way to make XBLA Demos into full games and rip DLC so people can use it. I'm not sure if you would get banned or not but it's a very interesting concept. I'm interested to see what comes from it.

What actually determines if your console gets flagged, other than being modded?

I have an old version of iXtreme (around 1.4 I think) and have NEVER played a game online - legit or pirated. I have connected to Live a few times to download updates, or game trailers. Would my console still be flagged for doing this?
