I'm sitting down playing the Mother 3 translation. Finally got around to it.
Using my beat up pink SP, that I carry with me wherever.

I would if I still had mine . I actually have a PSP Go motherboard on the way to me now, so I can solder a microSD onto it to replace the M2 slot. One that's done, it'll be my "take everywhere" handheld, since it does a wide variety of native and emulated games and has a great portable form factor. I'd just use my N3DS XL, but it's not so portable

Not comfortably. The thing takes up, like, 105% of my pocket. And that's not a typo, 105%. It basically sticks out. It's "portable", certainly, but not in the sense it's easy to just stuff in a pocket and go.

ove to see battle scars on the Gameboy, shows how much you love it, or your pet. I have some minty SPs, but prefer the well worn look. I picked up the Reaper vinyl skin of ebay quite a few years back. Its on the top cover and back side also.

What color? I bought an aftermarket case once, it was cheap as hell, and the screws almost came through the bottom half...it looks horrible. It was only $4.00 at the time. Let me know where to pick up a good quality one...then I have the fun of popping out that top hinge piece again.

Now that looks nice!, did you do the mod yourself? I've seen the adapter wires and screens. I was thinking of just getting the adapter wire since I have some 101 donation screens I can use. May have to show you some horrible attempts at front lighting with the afterburner kits from back in the day...they were a pain.

Yup, homemade! I had a badly damaged 101 SP, with a good screen, so I ordered a 32 pin ribbon cable (it was the model for my GBA) and clipped it to the new screen. Just had to snip a bit of plastic in the case to make it fit, and voilà! Works wonderfully.

I tried a new shell they just feel so cheap unlike OEM never again
