Question What purpose does Edge of Forum serve?

I don't understand to be honest. What games do people play on a forum? Or why is it called that? I see lots of topics there that range from very uncommon to just sharing opinions. So i just really have trouble understanding. If i was to create a topic here what would fit into there that the other categories don't cover.

It's a place where you can shitpost and derail threads without getting warns.
It used to be a testing area some years ago.

The games that are played are forum games.
I'd say scroll through some and see how it's played.

It's basically made to be a slightly more controlled /b board. It's made for a mix of testing new features as well for people to just shitpost in a controlled location. It's really made to be pointless, but a controlled pointless place.
