Used to be a Firefox kinda guy, but an update a couple of years ago screwed some things up so I switched to Brave.

What exactly did you have problems with regarding HW video decoding? I don't seem to have any issue. Not saying you didn't, but perhaps it's been fixed?

It depends on what laptop/setup I'm using. But it's either Firefox, brave or Vivaldi.

i've tried vivaldi on my w7 desktop and it was ok. though it was pretty slow for me...
