Ok, wtf...

So, I'm able to -launch- backups fine.

But, after I do, they give me a 'disc cannot be read' error.

I updated to the latest firmware, but still the same problem.

I got a gamecube controller and I was even able to get into the menu of Metroid Prime 2...but, when I went to start a new game, it gave me the same stupid disc read error!

Ahh, it was just media/burning problems...started burning at 1x and got some newer verbatims, and the burns now work. Sweet! Thanks OzMod for a bangup job

I have a Wii with a date of 2006.

What would be the best "clip on" mod chip for me to use. All I need is to play backups(and the ability to upgrade the firmware on the chip without taking my Wii apart again), I've already got my Twilight Hack. Also is there a reliable dealer for these in the states?

For D2B chipsets, you only have to solder GNd, 3V3, A, B, C and CLK jumper.
