Thanks for the disassemblers guys (I was starting to play with rec), I can not believe I did not think to put gamecube in.
@Heran Bago I am afraid I never played with gamecube ARC files (last ISO hacking was early->mid PS1 days and that was way before I got serious about this sort of thing: relinking and duping stuff was about the limit). I did a bit of searching and came up with:

I am going to go on a crash course in gamecube hacking (a cursory glance looks like it follows on like the DS does from the GBA) and then continue with all this. It is going to be hampered somewhat by lack of documents of no$gba specifications grade though (
