Homebrew Wiimote+ support for Colecovision emulator

I am running the WiiColEm emulator and have a Wiimote with built-in motion+. It doesn't see a Wiimote with motion+.

Anyone have luck recompiling the source with the latest libs so it will work with the motion+?
