What do you want to talk about ?
If it's about your own success story with Wiisx and your own games, you can do it here
wink.gif

The topic is open to anyone.

If you think the Wikitemp's compatibility list is ridiculously short, feel free to participate to its completeness. Nobody can test every existing game just for your pleasure.
People add the games they have and the one they tested. Free time is a problem for everyone.
You should be thankfull to the users who spent their time testing their games and updating the list instead of criticizing and taking people from above !

If you want to talk to the dev, there's a forum on Wiibrew : http://forum.wiibrew.org/
they also have their own compatibility list : http://wiibrew.org/wiki/WiiSX/Compatibility
And their official website : http://emulatemii.com/wordpress/

If HBC use it you have a clean IOS58!

Nothing else to do, but i recommand you using the IOS 202 mod it's safer and faster for your USB drive it seem to have a problem with IOS58 MOD i'll modify it when libogc was prove to be safe with that IOS.

I personally don't have any problem using IOS58 MOD but it seem some people got problem with their drive ... so be careful

FF7 works, but crashes when going into battle.

FF8 works in both AMV's and battle transitions.

FF9 can transition into battle, but can't display the AMV's properly.

yes, there are enough button (just use the correct controller : a classic controller).
we already know that these games are not working, most of them are even known by the developers and being corrected for the next release.
just look at the wiki, you will not spend your time for nothing.

Another note : saying "FF7 is not working" doesn't help at all, because we are missing your configuration (we need to know the Core, the Bios, the Pad, the iso version, etc.)
Some games need a special setting to work, just check the wikitemp to know if there's a way to play them.
If the wiki temp is not fully helpful, add your test result for other users to read it.

its been a while since i played ape escape but i think it used the l3 and r3 buttons, (pushing in on the analouge sticks) hence why he thinks there isnt enough buttons because even on my classic controller pro you cant click them in

It's real, they are using Dell's.
Ah, I don't remember that it used these buttons (I tried it on wiisx myself)

It would be great to have a shift-key then, like the Home+L and Home+R (and home on the CC won't be set to go back to Gui)

are you trying to save it to memory card? or are you using a save state?
also has anyone tried using a different bios? maybe sch7502 for better compatiblility?

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
