YAY! I managed to RNG a shiny wild pokemon on the first try! :D

Thank you so much for your mini guide about wild pokemon, @Real.96 !

Hey, what's correction and NPC number to trigger Bagon encounter on route 3?

It is more and encounte table than a guide xD I'm going to write a guide for wild really soon :)

for bagon use another spot which is better. Kala'e Bay 0 NPC :) just search it, it is written xD

I'd rather RNG encountering bagon on route 3 for underleveled Salamance. :B

Well I hope you'd find NPCs and corrections in there, but it's okay.

Atm you can't control SOS pokemon, so it is useless :/ Also, i found the correction but the the number of NPCs was to unstable. It changes everytime, so the rng is difficult there

Also i think that an underleveled Salamence with casual IVs isn't so useful xD

I am having a problem with Mystery Gift RNG. I have an O3DS with BootNTR Mode3. I am trying at the first Poke Center in front of the Delivery man. I have tried doing it exactly according to the guide but each time I pause and advance frame, The number of frames advanced changes each time. Sometimes it advances by 4-5 other times 6,7, etc. It is being completely variable with each pause-unpause so I am unable to hit my target frame...

Did you set the delay to 6? It's 6 when you're in front of the delivery man, 4 when behind him. Also, are you using the timeline method?

Yeah delay 6 as my in front of the man. I also tried with delay 4 behind the man. I used the time line method. But the problem is not with that. The problem is can't advance the frames without the variation in advance frames. Because of that, the time line frames cannot be reached.

That's strange because the timeline frames can always be reached, and the frame jumps being of different variations in places with multiple NPCs is common. I was able to always hit the frame for Shiny Tapu Koko on a region swapped Emunand in O3DS with Mode 3. Is it the actual first PC? The one in the Hao'li outskirts.

Yeah it's the first poke center. I had started a new game and it's the center where lily explains about the poke center.

Are you using the latest version, and used the wondercard file in the program for proper settings? Other than that it could be an NPC not being counted because it's the beginning of your game, as opposed to being finished and the NPC in question by then is gone. You should be hitting the frame all the time if you follow the guide exactly.

This is very unlikely. I got my Shiny Tapu Koko the second I was able to set foot into the poke centre on a fresh JPN Sun run through.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
